Information

Location & Nearby Attractions

Wildwood has so much to offer, from the large free beaches, award-winning restaurants, waterparks, to a boardwalk with more amusements than Disney Land.

Restaurants

Our home is a two-minute walk to three excellent restaurants: Mudhen Brewery, Poppy’s Wood-fired pizzeria, & Dog Tooth. For amazing Italian cuisine, swing by Alfies Restaurant. And don’t forget to grab a slice of Mack’s pizza on the boardwalk – or have it delivered!

Amazing Free Beaches

Believe it or not, Wildwood has the largest beach in the world, with certain sections nearly a half mile long. Beautiful sand, clean water, and lifeguards on duty everyday Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Water Sports

Deep sea fishing, dolphin watching, jet ski rentals, parasailing, paddle boarding – you can do all these things and more in Wildwood.

World-Famous Boardwalk

Over two miles long, with every type of entertainment and food option you’re looking for, Wildwood is famous for their boardwalk. Grab the Tramcar and take it to the end, then walk the entire length. Don’t forget to stop by the famous Wildwood sign to take a group picture.

Bike Riding

Bike riding on the boardwalk in the morning is a popular activity for families and couples. There are bike rental companies all over the island, and one at Rio Grande & the Boardwalk. Our advice – go early; it gets crowded after 10am. Bike riding is allowed until 1pm everyday.

Sightseeing

There are many options in Wildwood. Make the short drive to the Cape May Lewis Ferry, and take the Ferry over to the Delaware outlet stores for a nice day trip. If you’d like to stay in Wildwood, take the Sightseer cruise around the island, ride the bike trails from North to South, or take a Tram Car ride.
